Authorities are still conducting an investigation into the case of Galleno, a 22-year-old lady from Palawan who went missing upon entering a mall there.

Weeks later, remains of the woman were found in Purok Pulang Lupa Brgy. Sta. Lourdes along with other personal belongings and identification cards owned by Galleno.

The remains underwent DNA testing courtesy of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and it turned out that the skeletons found were of Galleno.

The primary suspects in the case of Galleno are her cousins Leobert Dasmariñas and Jovert Valdestamon.

NBI also conducted DNA testing on the remains found.

The result was earlier announced by Senator Raffy Tulfo in his public service program “Wanted sa Radyo”.

According to the senator, the partial result is “POSITIVE.”

“Unfortunately, nakakalungkot po na positive na kay Jovelyn, ‘yun po ang ayon sa report ng NBI,” he said.

Tulfo said the NBI will release a detailed report on the result of the DNA testing next week. The agency also opted to explain how they come up with the result.

Meanwhile, the presumed suspects have undertaken a polygraph test or lie detector test and the results are expected to be released next week as well.

  1. I don’t believe that the skeleton belongs to Jovelyn Galleno. Within the 3rd week a dead body is still under decomposition. Why not coordinate with Sir Tommy? He has the evidence. Somebody told him that the skeleton was taken from the cemetery. Watch the news of Sir Tommy.
