Here’s the reaction of Janno Gibbs when asked about being called “laos”
JANNO GIBBS – The actor-comedian-singer admitted that he was hurt every time he’s being called “laos.”
Janno Ronaldo Ilagan Gibbs is a singer-songwriter, actor, and comedian.
He started out in showbiz in the year 1986 as one of the members of the teen variety show That’s Entertainment which premiered on GMA Network.
He has several television shows like Eat Bulaga!, SOP, Party Pilipinas, Sunday All Stars, Nuts Entertainment, Ober Da Bakod, and Beh Bote Nga.
But after being with GMA Network for 30 years, he decided to move to TV5.
In 2018, he transferred to Kapamilya Network and reunited with his former SOP colleague Regine Velasquez, and his long-time best friend Ogie Alcasid
Then, he moved to Net 25 for his comedy variety show Happy Time, with fellow comedian Kit Kat and Anjo Yllana.
Meanwhile, Janno Gibbs admitted that he sometimes gets hurt when people call him “laos.”

In the vlog of talent manager and showbiz scribe Ogie Diaz on September 25, 2022, Janno said that the word “laos” is always thrown at him by bashers.
“Lagi namang binabalik sa akin, ‘Laos ka na. Laos na kaya nag-iingay sa social media,” he said.
He then admitted, “Nahe-hurt din pero tanggap ko naman. Alam mo, sa paniniwala ko, laos lang naman ako pag wala akong ginagawa, e.”
