Instead of earning the admiration of netizens, Alex Gonzaga was bashed after posting an “inspirational quote”
ALEX GONZAGA – The vlogger-host earned massive criticism on the internet a few hours after posting an “inspirational quote.”
Alex whose real name is Catherine Cruz Gonzaga Morada is considered one of the most popular stars in the country.
She’s also famous on social media with her self-titled YouTube channel which is one of the most subscribed channels in the Philippines.
The sister of actress-host Toni Gonzaga started her showbiz career via the ABS-CBN sitcom, Let’s Go, where she played the role of Alex, which also became her personal nickname.
It was in 2008 when she transferred to TV5 and became one of the hosts of the talk show, Juicy!
Five years later, she returned to ABS-CBN and has been one of the hosts of the reality show, Pinoy Big Brother (PBB).
Alex Gonzaga is married to politician Michael “Mikee” Morada.
Presently, the vlogger is one of the hosts of the late-morning variety show, Tropang LOL, formerly Lunch Out Loud.
Meanwhile, Alex Gonzaga earned negative comments after posting an inspirational quote on social media.
On the micro-blogging site, Twitter, Alex posted a quote about truth.
“One day the Lord will give you the time and chance to be able to tell your truth and story. Be patient,” she wrote.
Apparently, her supposed to be inspiring quote was flooded with negative comments.
A netizen said: “Weh, ginagamit mo na naman si lord as front.”
“Huwag mong gamitin si Lord sa pagka oportunista nyo,” another one noted.
“Nadamay na naman si Lord. Ay nako, mga impokrita,” commented a netizen.
“Npaka epokrita nman balahura na etiy!” claimed a netizen.
It can be recalled that it was just recently when Alex Gonzaga made a buzz online following her “insensitive” jokes to fellow “TropangLOL” host Mattero Guidicelli.
