Previously, Tropang LOL made rounds online with the #CancelTropangLOL due to its insensitive question about the Kpop supergroup, Super Junior.

Tropang LOL or formerly known as Lunch Out Loud is a late-morning variety show broadcast by TV5, Kapamilya Channel, and A2Z.

It is currently presented by notable ABS-CBN talents and social media influencers, namely Billy Crawford, Alex Gonzaga, Bayani Agbayani, Wacky Kiray, Alexa Miro, KC Montero, Jeff Tam, Jd Axie, and Laboching.

In one of its segments, celebrity guest Pooh was asked: “Sa concert scene sa Pilipinas, aling k-pop group ang nag cancel ng show sa Pilipinas recently dahil ang tatay ng isa sa mga members ay pumanaw?“

Obviously, the answer is Super Junior,

This is after Eunhyuk’s father passed away a day before their Manila concert.

The question enraged netizens including Pulp Live World COO Happee Sy-Go, who will bring the K-pop supergroup to the Philippines for their (postponed) concert.

Meanwhile, Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS), one of the leading South Korean television and radio broadcasters made a report.

Watch the video below:

Super Junior or SJ/SuJu debuted in 2005. During their reign in Korean Wave, they are considered one of the most popular K-pop groups in history. One of their well-known singles is titled, “Sorry, Sorry.”

They are now up for their return to the concert scene. Previously, they went to Bangkok, Thailand for a concert. They were supposed to perform in the Philippines but the show was canceled following the death of Eunhyuk’s father.
