AMBS will be on air by September according to Willie Revillame
WILLIE REVILLAME – The veteran host announced that the Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS) will be on air by September this year.
Earlier, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) granted frequencies previously used by ABS-CBN Corporation to several broadcasting companies.
This includes the Channel 2 frequency which was awarded to Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS), owned by billionaire and former senator, Manny Villar.
Aside from that, NTC also granted Channel 16, the analog channel in Mega Manila to AMBS.
The TV network owned by Manny Villar started its test broadcast last June 24.
According to Willie Revillame, AMBS will be on air by September.
Revillame made the announcement in an exclusive interview with PEP.ph.
Willie and AMBS executive Maribeth Tolentino have met a couple of times as they prepare for the grand launch of the television network.
Willie holds an important position at AMBS that’s why he’s busy developing and selecting concepts for the network.
Willie and Tolentino have already talked with Boss Vic del Rosario, the president and CEO of Viva Entertainment. Therefore, a partnership with AMBS is expected.
Joining Willie and Vic in their meeting are Viva executive Veronique del Rosario-Corpus and his brother Vincent del Rosario, Jr.
As promised, Willie said that all the information about AMBS would come from him in order to avoid fake news.
The opening of AMBS is opted to provide employment and livelihood to television industry workers affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
