GRADUATION LEI – A newly grad senior high school student went viral with his unique lei made of curls.
Graduation is probably the most important moment of a student’s life.
This is the season when a student reminisces the struggle and hardships he/she had gone through until finishing his/her studies.
It is also an important event for parents who are working very hard in order to support their children, especially in their studies.
In the Philippines, June and July are usually the graduation period from kinder to elementary to junior high to senior high to college, and so on and so forth.
It is also a celebration of not just completing the studies but also a thanksgiving to the teachers as well as the schools who have honed the potential, skills, and knowledge of students.
Speaking of graduation, a newly grad student went viral with his unique graduation lei.
Mark Jason “Jaymark” Waminal from Alubijid, Misamis Oriental just finished his senior high.
Instead of the traditional graduation lei made of flowers, he wore a lei made of curls.
In the caption of his post, Jaymark said that he’s confused about whether he just graduated or is selling food.
According to PEP.ph, he also thanked the person who gave him the unique graduation lei, no less than his cousin.
Meanwhile, his photo earned mixed reactions from the netizens.
A netizen told him that he can now put up a business thanks to his graduation lei.
Another netizen said that the curls are perfect as “pulutan” for a drinking session.
The photo of Jaymark is an implication that on any occasion, the unique humor of Filipinos manifests.
