Burger Store Employee Gains Sympathy From Netizens for Earning Only P200 for 12 Hours of Work
The heartbreaking photo and video of a burger store employee who only earns P200 for 12 hours of work earn reactions online.
A Facebook user named Miranda Ramos has shared the photo and video of a poor burger store employee who only earns P200 for 12 hours of work. The post immediately went viral after it was posted on social media.
Ramos narrated that she was at a hospital in Mt. Carmel Pampanga when she decided to buy a burger due to hunger. She went to a branch of Burger Machine in the area and found the lady vendor.
The 52-year-old worker identified as Agnes Perez has a cleft pallet. Perez is working as a store crew to feed and provide the financial necessities of her three children after she broke up with her husband.
The woman is residing in Mexico, Pampanga, and usually spends P80 on transportation. She and her three kids were trying to budget P120 for their daily meals. Agnes was also ashamed to find another job because of her condition.
Ramos also seeks help for the poor worker and encouraged the public to visit Nanay Agnes at the store.

“Nasa hospital kami ng Mt. Carmel Pampanga. Bali dapat mag seseven eleven lang kami kaso wala yung bibilhin namin. Parang out of nowhere naisip namin tara mag burger tayo. Dun namin nameet si ate ng Burger Machine. Pangalan nya Agnes Perez, bali PWD may cleft pallet sya 52 years old may 3 anak at hiwalay sa asawa. Natanong namen ate magkano sahod mo dahil mukhang pagod at pawis si ate. 200 daw sya 12hrs taga mexico pampanga pa si ate at eto namang mt carmel located pa siya sa Sanguin Pampanga. So kung magcocommute sya bali 80 pesos kaya 120 nalang daw nauuwi nya. Kaya ginagawa ni ate yung kapalitan nya may tricycle dun nadaw sya natutulog sa tricycle. Sabi namin bat dika maghanap ng ibang trabaho kase napakababa nahihiya daw sya dahil may mga tao na di nakakaintindi sa salita nya. Saka matanda naren daw sya at di nakapag aral.Kaya po pinost koto para mahanapan ng trabaho si ate. Kahit yaya or old sitter lang daw balu may experience nadaw sya as old sitter sa 89 years old bali nagtagal daw sya magwork dun for 8years. Sana po mahanapan ng work si ate sa mga kilala kong CG and old sitter.
P.S ! Walapong phone si ate, Sa mga gusto po mag abot ng tulong sakanya mag direct nalang po kayo sakanya or puntahan po siya sa work niya. As of now po andami napong nagmemessage and nagaalok ng work kay ate. Sana po madamay din sa blessings ni ate yung workmate nyapo dahil same din po sila ng salary. Salamat po”
