Bela Padilla: “This time last year, I left my comfort zone.”
BELA PADILLA — The actress recently took to social media to mark the first year of moving to Europe and reflect on the past year.
Sharing a reel on her Instagram account, Bela recalled the challenges she had to overcome as she reflected on the past year after her decision to move to Europe in 2021.
The actress went back to Zurich, Switzerland — the first place she went to last year — to mark the year that has passed. Bela can be seen enjoying the cold weather in her social media post.
“This time last year, I left my comfort zone. I flew to Europe with the intention of living in London by September 2021. And I did it,” Bela wrote in the caption of her social media post. “When I’m asked what I do for a living, I often joke that I’m jobless or that I’m on a sabbatical.”

The actress then continued to share how she has seen growth in her career the past year even though she joked about the status of her profession.
She also mentioned that she has already experienced so much in the previous year.
According to her, she visited countries that she only imagined when she’s in taping tents back then and also attended events that she only previously saw on social media.
Bela unveiled that in her 15-year career as an actress, she could finally experience being herself.
“I have such a great group of people around me constantly pushing me forward. I celebrate this move with an even more persistent drive, looking forward to what’s next. Take this as your sign to go to unchartered territories and to really live your life,” Bela said.
