Heart’s showbiz career started when she became a member of ABS-CBN’s Star Circle Batch 9.

She then ventured into acting and became part of the movies like Ang Tanging Ina, Bcuz of U, Mano Po 6: A Mother’s Love, and Temptation Island.

She also landed as a VJ on the MYX music channel.

Heart is married to Senator-elect Francis “Chiz” Escudero, the outgoing governor of Sorsogon.

They were introduced to each other by Evangelista’s “mentor”, the late senator Miriam Defensor Santiago, who was a close friend of Heart’s mom.

They tied the knot in 2015 in a private ceremony at the Balesin Island Club.

In May 2018, Evangelista and Escudero announced that they are expecting twins. However, she subsequently suffered a miscarriage.

Meanwhile, aside from her series of international fashion show invites, she is focusing on her new journey as a CEO.

Along with her friends, Heart earlier opened her first flagship store Pure Living Beauty Company which sells beauty and wellness products.

According to Heart, despite her busy schedule traveling around the world, she won’t stop pursuing her dreams.

Although she’s into her personal dreams, Heart is happy that her husband Senator-elect Chiz Escudero is giving all-out support.

When asked if she is planning to return to acting, she said: “For now parang wala.”

She added: “For now parang wala pa. I am really enjoying what I do. Para akong nakatikim ng you know, I got to see different world and I really enjoy it and this world is really expressing yourself.”

Heart explained that she’s now happy with her role as a social media influencer.
