Sherly Cruz Shares Mom’s Photo w/ Susan Roces, Eddie Gutierrez, and Elvis Presley
SUSAN ROCES – The veteran actress’ niece, Sheryl Cruz, shared her photo with her former leading man, Eddie Gutierrez, and Elvis Presley.
The death of Susan Roces who passed away at the age of 80 last May 20, 2022 left countless hearts. Tagged the Queen of Filipino Movies, the veteran actress died due to cardiac arrest.
Susan was part of several big movies in the history of the Philippine show business. Her ultimate leading man in projects is veteran actor Eddie Gutierrez.
At her wake which was held at the Heritage Park in Taguig, one of those who spoke to pay tribute to Susan Roces was Eddie Gutierrez. He recalled their fun days working together and even outside work.
According to Eddie Gutierrez, there was a time when they were in Las Vegas, Nevada in the United States when he and Susan Roces had a picture with the King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley. Her sister, former actress Rosemarie Sonora, was also there.
Eddie is really a fan of Elvis. They met someone abroad who has helped them meet the King of Rock and Roll in person and they even had a picture together.
Recently, on social media, Susan Roces’ actress niece Sheryl Cruz shared the photo of her mom Rosemarie, her Mama Inday (Susan), Eddie Gutierrez, and Elvis Presley. She is the daughter of former actress Rosemarie Sonora.
In the caption of her Instagram post, Sheryl stated in a hashtag that “The King” was with the Sampaguita stars then. She also wrote that her mother and her Mama Inday are daughters of doctor Jesus. T. Sonora and Purification L. Sonora.
During her speech in the wake of Susan, Eddie was not able to hold back his tears as he expressed his love for her. They are very close to each other and many of their batch mates in showbiz have already passed away.
