Sunshine Cruz: “Napakabait na bata ni Diego (Loyzaga) kaya nga mahal na mahal ng mga anak ko at mahal namin.”
SUNSHINE CRUZ — The actress and celebrity mom recently revealed how protective Diego Loyzaga is to her children.
The actress shared some of her daughters’ most charming qualities during their launch as Surge Fitness + Lifestyle ambassadors. As a proud mother, she said that she’s happy that her children Angelina, Sam, and Cheska have very distinct personalities.
She admitted that she’s aware that her children are becoming even more popular than her, especially on social media, after Angelina formally joined show business in 2019 and followed by Sam in 2021.

After sharing her thoughts on actor Diego Loyzaga being the best kind of brother to her kids, the actress bared one example of their close relationship with their half-sibling with father Cesar Montano.
“Napakabait na bata ni Diego kaya nga mahal na mahal ng mga anak ko at mahal namin,” Sunshine revealed. “He’s very generous at saka sobrang protective sa mga anak ko. Pag merong manliligaw dudurugin daw niya yung mga mukha (laughs). Pero joke lang yun. It’s just a joke. Pero napakabait niya na kuya and sabi ko nga, misunderstood lang siguro ng iba pero the best.”
The celebrity mom also said that she made sure to build a strong level of respect and trust with her children, even when it comes to their suitors, now that her children are all in their teenage years.
Meanwhile, Sunshine shared how proud she was of her boyfriend’s successful bid during the recent national polls. According to her, she and her children were in full support for Macky Mathay’s successful bid for councilor in San Juan during the May 9 elections.
