Sue Ramirez: “I realized there is no timeline for me (to get married) now.”
SUE RAMIREZ — The actress recently shared that she’s not ready to settle down in marriage anytime soon, even as her relationship with her boyfriend, Victorias City (Negros Occidental) Mayor-elect Javi Benitez, is going strong.
The actress told Manila Bulletin during the media conference of “The Broken Marriage Vow” that there’s no timeline for her to get married at the moment, adding that it’s “like a quarter-life crisis”.
“When you’re young, gusto mong magmadali. It’s like you want to take your shot at your happy ending right away. But now, I appreciate my life more, enjoy the process, absorb everything and learn from everyone I meet.” she said.
The actress portrayed the role of Lexy Lucero in “The Broken Marriage Vow”, the mistress of the character played by actor Zanjoe Marudo. Other stars of the show are Zaijian Jaranilla and Jodi Sta. Maria, among others.
Without revealing anything, Sue said that she approved of how Lexy ended up. The actress also shared that the biggest lesson she learned from Lexy is to know one’s self-worth.

She went on to say that the story of the show is not confined solely to the issues of infidelity and cheating. According to her, every character is different and the reaction to each character’s reaction is based on where they came from.
The actress is in preparation for two new films soon — one with Isabelle Daza, Jake Cuenca, and Iza Calzado; and another one with which she’s not yet at the liberty to share details to.
