Mikael Daez: “It’s only been a few days away from here and the adjustment has been pretty big.”
MIKAEL DAEZ — The Kapuso actor recently took to social media to open up about being apart from his wife Megan Young.
Megan and Mikael will be away from each other for 50 days. This was the first time that the couple will be separated for an extended period of time as the two have been together for more than 11 years and married for 2 years.
A few days into their temporary long-distance relationship (LDR), the actor shared that it was admittedly a big adjustment. He also said that he stands by his prediction that there’s so much that both of them will learn from being apart from each other.
The actor added that with “Running Man PH” kicking off production, he and his cast members will get to travel around South Korea and he will soon be releasing some KPop-themed content as well.
“At malay natin, baka maka-selfie ko si Seokjin sa daan!” he said.
Kim Seokjin, or also known as Jin, is one of the members of the South Korean pop group BTS. Jin also happens to be Mikael’s wife’s “bias” or idol. Megan then responded in the comments section of Mikael’s social media post.
“Just make sure that it’s Kim Seokjin… Baka sa ibang Seokjin ka magpa picture!” Megan said.

To recall, the actress shared photos of her trip to New York wherein she can be seen exploring the Whitney Museum in the Big Apple. Megan also relayed that she had a great time exploring the museum all by herself.
“Naeenjoy ko noon ang mga nakikita ko, kahit di ko naiintindihan at hindi ko kilala ang mga artists for this trip, sa Whitney Museum naman ako nag punta,” Megan wrote at that time. “Na enjoy ko ang solo time ko dito – kahit namimiss ko si Fofo (Mikael Daez).”
