Here’s the official statement of GMA Network on the Tom-Carla split
GMA NETWORK – The Kapuso network took to social media wherein it posted a statement regarding the separation of Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana.
Bartolome Alberto Mott, popularly known as Tom Rodriguez, is considered one of the most popular Kapuso stars today.
He started off in showbiz after being part of the reality show, Pinoy Big Brother on ABS-CBN.
Then, he ventured into acting and transferred to GMA Network wherein he starred in the hit series, “My Husband’s Lover.”
Through the years, he also appeared in different movies such as Temptation Island.
On the other hand, Carla Angeline Reyes Abellana is an actress-model who rose to fame when she portrayed the lead role in the Philippine adaptation of the Mexican telenovela Rosalinda in 2009.
She is also known for her lead role in Sine Novela: Basahang Ginto, Kung Aagawin Mo Ang Langit, Makapiling Kang Muli, My Husband’s Lover, My Destiny, Because of You, Mulawin vs. Ravena and I Heart Davao.
It was on October 23, 2021, when the two got married at San Juan Nepomuceno Parish Church in Batangas after seven (7) years of being together.
However, months after their marriage, the couple decided to end their relationship.
It was just recently when Carla broke her silence on her split with Tom. The latter on the other hand revealed that they’re already divorced.
Meanwhile, GMA Network has issued a statement regarding the split between Tom and Carla.
