TOUCHING MOMENT – A grieving father marched with the standee of his dead son during his supposed graduation on Saturday, May 28.
One of the precious moments for parents is to see their sons or daughters march in their graduation rite.
Apparently, a father and son from South Cotabato were not able to cherish such a moment.
This, after Mark Sanchez, a BA English student of Marvelous College of Technology Inc. in Koronadal City, South Cotabato, died before his supposed graduation.
According to his classmates, Mark died of cardiac arrest.
Because of this, he was not able to march during his graduation rite.
But his father found a touching way to honor his memory.
Mark’s father marched with the standee of him during his supposed graduation ceremony.
The touching moment was caught on camera and was uploaded on various social media platforms making it viral.
In the video, the father can be seen carrying the standee of his son.
Other students can be seen applauding with their hearts while the proud dad is approaching the center stage.

The video has gone viral garnering reactions from the netizens.
Netizens were touched by the scene.
“Grabe ang bigat sa dibdib panoorin. hindi ko mapigilang umiyak bilang isang magulang na makita at masabitan ng medal ang anak,” a netizen named Julie Paras wrote.
Mark’s last post on Facebook was on April 14 wherein he asked for solicitation for his graduation rite and yearbook.
