Case Filed Against Tony Labrusca Dismissed by Court
TONY LABRUSCA – The Kapamilya actor broke his silence on the decision of the court to junk the case filed against him in 2021.
Among the actors in the Philippines showbiz industry who are biologically related to each other are Boom and Tony Labrusca. The latter is the son of Boom with his ex-girlfriend, singer Angel Jones.
Both Tony and Boom are under ABS-CBN network. However, at first, they were not very close to each other as Tony grew up with his mother and stepfather abroad. He was only a kid when Boom and Angel separated.
It was through the ABS-CBN reality show search for Pinoy Boyband Superstar where Boom and Tony reunited. The latter is one of the contestants in the said Kapamilya program.
A lot of projects came the way of Tony even after his stint in Pinoy Boyband Superstar has ended. He was part of several huge projects under the Kapamilya network including the hit KathNiel TV series La Luna Sangre where he played the character of Jake Arguelles, the werewolf best friend of one of the main casts.
However, in 2021, Tony’s image was tainted negatively by cases that were filed against him. A complainant filed a case before the court claiming that the actor hurt him. The said charges were dismissed in July 2021.
Before it was dismissed, another case was filed by a woman against Tony Labrusca for his alleged erring behaviors towards her. The Makati Prosecutor’s Office junked the said case against the actor.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Tony is thankful for the decision of the Court. He stressed that he did not do anything wrong and he is a good person. He is grateful that he can now move on.
The actor is determined to focus on his career and he is excited about his upcoming project, “Breathe Again”, with beauty queen Ariella Arida.
