MIKE ENRIQUEZ – The veteran Kapuso broadcast journalist is currently making rounds online with his “uuwi na po ako” remark in a news report.

Mike is considered one of the most popular broadcasters in the country.

He started his career in broadcasting as a staff announcer at the Manila Broadcasting Company in 1969.

Presently, he is the Consultant for radio operations of GMA Network, president of the network’s regional and radio subsidiary, RGMA Network Inc., and the Station Manager of Super Radyo DZBB 594 AM.

He’s also a mainstay of GMA’s newest primetime newscast “24 Oras.”

Throughout his career as a news anchor, he would cover numerous news events.

He also earned numerous awards and citations including the most child-friendly personalities by the Southeast Asian Foundation for Children and thrice consecutively by the Anak TV Seal awards.

Currently, he is making rounds online because of his “uuwi na po ako” remark while giving a report.

Enriquez was giving updates about presidential aspirant Ping Lacson when he said: “uuwi na po ako”.

His remark was then followed by Lacson’s plan after losing to presidential frontrunner Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

BBM is leading the race with over 31 million votes followed by Robredo with only 14 million votes.

On the other hand, leading the race for vice president is no less than Sara Duterte with more than 31 million votes followed by Kiko Pangilinan with only 9 million votes.

Mike Enriquez has yet to issue any statement with regards to his remark that has gone viral and earned mixed reactions.
