Kris Bernal: “Even on my darkest days, I will stand tall and find the sunlight.”
KRIS BERNAL — The actress-vlogger recently took to social media to share the reason why she loves sunflowers and sunsets.
Kris celebrated her 33rd birthday last May 17, but she keeps on sharing some outtakes from a recent photoshoot to mark her special day as #KrisBbaresHerTruthAt33.
Sharing photos of herself in a sunset-colored background, the actress shared on Instagram how much she adores sunsets and sunflowers. According to her, sunsets and sunflowers remind her of “new beginnings and hope”.
“Even on my darkest days, I will stand tall and find the sunlight,” she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post. “There is no limit on how many times you’re allowed to start over. There are no restrictions on how many chapters you’re allowed to begin again. Over and over. Until everything feels right.“

Aside from this, she also shared a series of black-and-white photos of herself on her Instagram account. According to her, the birthday shoot idea just came to her out of nowhere and it had only been scheduled a few days before.
She also shared that she missed posting everything on her actual birthday because “we didn’t have enough time to decide which photos to share”.
“A birthday wish – A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated,” she said.
She then thanked her team who helped make her vision for her birthday shoot a reality.
