Here’s the message of Arnell Ignacio to Kim Chiu about “spokesperson”

KIM CHIU – The actress received a lecture from former Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) deputy executive director Arnell Ignacio about “spokesperson.”

The Kapamilya star is currently making rounds online following her remarks about Atty. Vic Rodriguez, the spokesperson of former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

Kim is wondering why BBM’s spokesperson was the one who always answer the media during interviews.

Kim Chiu made the statement after Bongbong Marcos reject the call of Vice President Leni Robredo to a one-on-one debate.

Earlier, Robredo challenged BBM to a one-on-one debate.

However, Bongbong Marcos turned down the offer of Robredo.

Meanwhile, Kim Chiu received a lecture from Arnell Ignacio about spokesperson.

In a vlog, Arnell dubbed Kim for having a “very colorful personality” because of the questions thrown by the actress.

Then, he explained what is the work of a spokesperson or spokesman of renowned personalities such as Marcos Jr.

“Ano ba ang spokesperson Kim? Ang spokesperson ay isang tao na nagsasalita in behalf of somebody else. Why does that happen? Kasi ‘yung tao na iyong inaantay na magsalita eh napakaraming engagement at kailangan niya ng isa pang tagapagpaliwanag,” he said.

According to him, there’s nothing wrong that Atty. Rodriguez was the one who always answer the media during interviews.

He also advised Kim should also have her own “spokesperson” who would speak on her behalf.

“You know, what’s best for you get a spokesperson for yourself. Malaking tulong yan, para di ka sumasabit Kim,” he said.
