HIPON GIRL – Kapuso star Hipon Girl turned heads at the Binibining Pilipinas’ Grand Santacruzan in a gorgeous dress by Geronie Labora.

Herlene Nicole Budol a.k.a Hipon Girl is one of the 40 official candidates for the Binibining Pilipinas 2022. After she clinched the top 40, the video of her confrontation with Miss Manila 2020 Alexandra Abdon resurface.

During their face-off, Abdon called the Kapuso star “iskwater” and “squammy.” She also said that Herlene does not have the right to become a beauty queen. After she received harsh statements from the online community, she admitted that it was scripted.

The Bb. Pilipinas recently published the photo of this year’s delegates on FB. Countless netizens reacted to their post and Hipon Girl’s photo garnered the highest number of reactions on the said social media platform.

Hipon also recently shared a lovely photo of her with her grandparents Nanay Bireng and Tatay Oreng. In the caption, she thanked her beloved grandparents for inspiring her to do her best in the pageant through their precious smiles.

“To my Priceless Nanay Bireng at Tatay Oreng. Salamat sa magandang ngiti at inspirasyon para ilaban ko ang prestihiyosong patimpalak sa national pageant ng Bb. Pilipinas 2022,” she wrote.

The Bb. Pilipinas 2022 pre-pageant kicked off with the annual ‘Santacruzan.’ The event was held at the Araneta City in Cubao, Quezon City on May 14. Hipon Girl and other beauty queens like Miss International 2005 Precious Lara Quigaman joined the annual Flores De Mayo.

The Kapuso star said that she played Pamayanan Guadalupe in the event. She donned and elaborate outfit made by Geronie Labora from Zamboanga City. Her gown is worth P150,000.
