Heart Evangelista: “Yes, he does give me allowance …”
HEART EVANGELISTA — The actress and fashion icon recently shared that she’s still receiving an allowance from her husband, Sorsogon Governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero.
With the amount of designer outfits and products that she has, it’s understandable if one assumes that she does not need an allowance from anybody else.
However, as seen in her latest video on her Love Marie Escudero YouTube channel, that is not the case as she still receives an allowance from her husband.
In Heart’s video titled “RELATIONSHIPS, LOVE & MODERN FAMILIES”, the 7th episode of Heart’s “Adulting with Chiz” series, this allowance was one of the multiple topics she and Chiz discussed.
The topic came up after she told her husband that this was something that her followers were curious about.
After saying that Chiz does provide his wife with an allowance, he clarified that this was to cover basic needs and not for any luxuries that she may have.
It’s good that the senatorial candidate clarified that his wife’s allowance is for basic needs because Heart certainly has a number of luxuries, often displayed on her Instagram account.
“Yes, he does give me allowance for essentials. Like food, especially when I travel with a lot of people, and gas. And he gives me leeway like for buying from Zara. So, I’m happy,” Heart said in a mix of Filipino and English.

Back in February, the fashion icon let her followers in on her early morning routine, while at the same time showcasing an eye-catching Balenciaga coffee cup, which retails for USD 110.
The actress has been teased about her Chanel hangers, which can cost anywhere from USD 45 to USD 56. Also, Heart has a closet full of designer outfits, with Dior being one of them.
