Amanpulo is an island resort on Pamalican Island in Palawan, Philippines.

It is owned by Seven Seas Resorts and Leisure, Inc., and Aman Resorts. The resort is majority-owned by the ANSCOR.

The name Amanpulo came from Aman which is Sanskrit for peace and pulo means island in Tagalog.

It is among the Philippines’ most exclusive resorts and is known to be a hideaway for the rich and famous, including Hollywood celebrities.

The resort has villas and casitas that can accommodate the guests very well.

Each villa features a private swimming pool, a bedroom, living and dining pavilions, an outdoor lounge, and a kitchen with a private chef and butler.

Recently, the luxurious resort in Palawan made a buzz online because of its “expensive” turon.

Turon is a sliced banana or other fruit rolled in a thin layer of pastry and deep-fried, served as a dessert or snack.

Apparently, it is not only turon which cost that much.

A netizen named Janina took to social media wherein she reposted a photo that allegedly features the price of bottled water in the said island resort.

Based on the photo, an Evian 330 ml costs six hundred (600) pesos while Acqua Panna 750ml is 750 pesos.

On the other hand, San Pellegrino 250ml is P450 while San Pellegrino 750ml is P750.

However, some netizens claimed that the photo might be edited. But according to online selling platforms, a 330ml of Evian water cost 149 pesos.
