Here’s the message of Vivian Velez to Bongbong Marcos
VIVIAN VELEZ – The Director-General of the Film Academy of the Philippines called Bongbong Marcos “mayabang” over the controversial UniTeam rally in Bukidnon.
Bongbong Marcos or BBM runs for president in the coming elections together with his runningmate, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio. They will go against the tandem of; Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.
Recently, Marcos Jr. together with the UniTeam went to Bukidnon for another leg of their campaign rally.
Among those present in the sortie is no less than Governor Jose Zubiri Jr., the father of Senator Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri, who was also present in the said trail.
While they are on stage, something unexpected happened.
BBM, who is currently leading in presidential surveys, was captured on camera refusing to raise his hand with Zubiri Jr.
The father of Senator Migz was left stunned after the son of the late dictator purposely avoided his hand.
The senatorial aspirant then continued uttering some words while the crowd is cheering for him.
Apparently, many were not amused with the gesture of BBM and one of which is former actress, Vivian Velez.
According to Velez- a supporter of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, Marcos Jr. humiliated the elder Zubiri.
She said that it shows how Marcos allegedly treat the people and local officials.
Velez also called Marcos “mayabang” because he thought he had won because of his high rating in surveys.
“Exactly how Marcos Jr treats people. He uses local officials when needed and disposes of them when they’re done. The monster is out of the cage,” she said.
“Yumabang na kasi, akala nya panalo na siya hahaha. Local officials and allies should learn from this and drop him,” she added.
Meanwhile, Sen. Migz Zubiri tagged the issue as “malisyoso.”
