Here’s What Sandara Park Has To Say About Her Flying Shoe During Coachella 2022
SANDARA PARK – K-pop superstar Sandara Park explained how she lost her iconic shoe during 2NE1’s surprise Coachella performance.
South Korean superstar Sandara Park started her showbiz career when she joined Kapamilya’s talent show ‘Star Circle Quest’ in 2004. She had a successful acting and singing career in the Philippines.
In 2009, she debuted as a member of the K-pop girl group 2NE1. The quartet, Dara, Bom (Park Bom), Minzy (Gong Minji), and CL (Lee Chaerin) achieved worldwide fame. 2NE1 disbanded in 2016.
Dara, Bom, Minzy, and CL surprised everyone when they performed at Coachella 2022. Their reunion at the art and music festival is their first group performance in 6 years. They performed their song “I Am The Best.”
During the performance, the 37-year-old celebrity kicked, resulting in her right shoe flying in the air. Her missing shoe gained lots of attention.
In a previous article, her friend Joross Gamboa poked fun at her missing shoe. He joked about Dara being “down to earth” and showed 2NE1 on stage with a zoomed-in photo of Dara’s feet with one shoe missing.

Sandara Park recently Tweeted about her infamous “missing shoe” during the Coachella show. She wrote, “I got my other shoe back! Don’t worry!”
Her sock, however, is still missing. She added, “I think my socks is still on the stage. With all the other performers… sorry for that.”
Sandara Park also explained how she must have lost the shoe. She said her energy must have been extra high while she was onstage.
“Ewan ko…d naman lumipad yung shoes ko during rehearsals… I think iba talaga energy level ko sa actual show!!!”
