Here’s the open letter of Malcolm Conlan to Manny Pacquiao
MALCOLM CONLAN – A British guy took to social media wherein he posted an open letter addressed to senator and presidential aspirant Manny Pacquiao.
Pacquiao will run for president in the coming May 9, 2022 election together with his runningmate Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza.
They will go against the tandem of; Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.
But according to a British guy named Malcolm Conlan, Pacquiao doesn’t have a chance of winning for president.
In an open letter he posted on Wednesday, April 6, he admitted that he was hurt by the comments he read from netizens criticizing the boxer-turned-politician.
One of which is when the senator was bashed over his explanation at a recent debate about “foreign policy.”
But the British guy believes that many would still love and respect Pacquiao for all the things that he has done and continue to do for Filipinos.
Conlan, on the other hand, believes that it would be better if Pacquiao just used the money he spends on the campaign to help people in other ways.
He also said that Pacquiao’s English skills should not be the basis for him to lead the country.
According to him, the senator should not wait for the “sign” from the Lord in case he back down from the presidency.
In the last part of his post, he said that Pacquiao doesn’t have a chance to win the presidency at the time.
