GCash introduced its digital business solutions.

GCASH — The mobile wallet giant recently introduced a digital business solution that will help small entrepreneurs future-proof and expand their business.

The mobile wallet giant seeks to enable business owners to provide seamless service to their customers and to also track sales and increase their wallet limit through GCash Pro.

According to GCash president and CEO Martha Sazon, they need to be aware of the challenges faced by those entrepreneurs and to strengthen their position as a business partner for growth, beyond payments.

Philstar reported that the service under GCash Pro is “BizStarter99” — a monthly subscription-based offer that will let businesses upgrade their operations for as low as PHP 99.

The mobile wallet giant said that entrepreneurs would no longer have to worry about reaching their wallet limit in accepting payments with BizStarter99 as they can accept more payments from customers with an upgraded wallet limit of PHP 500,000.

Aside from this, the mobile wallet giant said that the subscription also helps them in managing their expenses and revenues as entrepreneurs are given up to 5 times cashback on bank transfers, giving them up to PHP 75 savings monthly. Entrepreneurs also get free personal insurance coverage up to PHP 50,000.

Another service that GCash Pro provides for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) is “Payment Links”, a platform that lets entrepreneurs do real-time tracking and allows them to safely move their funds all through a dashboard — from receiving payments, to processing refunds, to making withdrawals.

Likewise, “Payment Links” gives customers a seamless and convenient way of paying as they receive the links through messaging apps.

According to the mobile wallet giant, the transaction is secure and safe as payments are only released to the merchant once the customer receives their goods.

Sazon said that after reaching acquisition targets, launching new products, and growing their presence in the MSME community, it’s imperative to sustain the momentum and leap forward to more growth opportunities.
