Farmer Expresses Dismay After Unidentified Suspects Burned His Newly-Harvest Corns
A farmer gets emotional and got frustrated after some unidentified suspects burned his newly-harvest corns.
The Facebook page “PIA Region 2” has shared the photos of a farmer named tatay Elizardo Mallari, Sr. of Calamagui, San Pablo, Isabela who gets emotional after someone burned his harvest. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the photos, it can be seen that hundreds of corns harvested by Mallari turned into ashes after burned by several unidentified suspects. He worked hard for a couple of months before the harvest but his hardships just go in vain.
Tatay Elizardo leave their harvest in the farm before threshing but he was shocked after his corns got burned. The poor farmer expressed his disappointment due to the incident for having nothing to start with.
Mallari spent a lot of money renting a tractor to cultivate the soil, buying seeds and fertilizer. He also spent cash to hire workers who will attend and harvest his crops. He is seeking justice and help from the concerned agencies.

“PERA NA SANA, NAGING ABO PA!
Literal na naging abo ang dalawang tambak ng mga naaning mais ni tatay Elizardo Mallari, Sr. ng Calamagui, San Pablo, Isabela matapos itong sunugin ng mga hindi pa nakikilalang suspect.
Ayon kay tatay Elizardo, iniwan nila kahapon ang mga naaning mais sa bukid para ipapa-thresher sana ngayong araw subait laking gulat niya nang madatnan niyang halos abo na lahat ang kanyang mga pinaghirapan sa loob ng ilang buwan.
Panlulumo ang nararamdaman ngayon ni tatay Elizardo dahil hindi niya lubos maisip kung paano makakabangon muli sa sobrang mahal ng mga nagastos niya mula sa pagpapa-tractor ng lupa, pagbili ng binhi at abono, hanggang sa pagbayad ng mga taong nagtanim at nag-harvest sa kanyang mga mais.
Hanggang sa mga oras na ito, hindi lubos maisip ni tatay Elizardo kung bakit may mga taong gumawa nito sa kanyang mga ani. Ayon pa kay tatay, sana ay naisip ng mga gumawa nito na dugo at pawis ang kanyang naging puhunan rito.
Nananawagan si tatay Elizardo sa mga kinauukulan na sana ay mahuli ang mga may kagagawan nito at sana ay tulungan din siya ng mga concerned agencies upang makabangon muli.”
