Carmina Villaroel said it’s not really an issue for her but they should be responsible for sharing anything because fake news is very rampant online.

“Ako naniniwala ako du’n sa oversharing—ako lang yon ha. That’s only for me. That’s why… hindi ako judgmental na tao. Kung anuman ang nakikita ko sa social media—Facebook, Twitter, Instagram o kung ano—if that is you page, if that is your account, I respect that.”

“Kung ano man ang shini-share mo, kumbaga, wala akong opinion don. I don’t care. That’s your business. Ang pinapakialaman ko lang ’yong sa akin kasi naniniwala ako sa oversharing depende sa topic ha.”

“Di ba, sinasabi nga nila, you think before you click kasi mamaya fake news naman pala yung shini-share ninyo.”

Carmina Villaroel also gave advice to her celebrity friend who has a huge number of followers on social media. She told them to be careful of what they are posting or sharing because there are a lot of people who look up to them.

“Tayo, doon sa maraming followers, maraming naglo-look up sa atin so let’s all be responsible. And let’s say, kung anumang topic ang gusto mong pag-usapan… Sinasabi mo na what you see is what you get. I’m just being true, authentic. Nagpapakatotoo lang ako. Be ready sa magiging reaksyon ng mga tao.”

“Now, if you don’t care then go ahead. That’s your life, that’s your page, that’s your account. Basta sa akin, wala ka lang inaapakang tao… Oo, that is your page, that is your account. Just make sure na wala kang inaapakang tao, wala kang inaagrabyadong tao then okey ka. Okey tayo.”

“Pero sa akin, just be responsible. Yon lang yon. Whatever you do, just be responsible. Harapin mo kung ano mang consequences ang dadating sa buhay mo with your posts, or with your accounts, or with your comments, or with your videos or with your opinions. Just always be ready to whatever kung ano man ang dumating,” she added.

  1. Very well said.. Hindi lang maganda, mabuting asawa. Responsable at mapagmahal sa pamilya. Kundi malawak ang pananaw sa buhay. At tunay na tao hindi plastic. May sense ang bawat sinasabi. When Carmina speaks. Everybody listens. Rare breed sa local-showbiz.
