Sara Duterte Tells UniTeam Supporters To “Throw Burger” To Those Who Want To “Cancel” Them

Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte: “Kapag kayo po ay binato ng cancel, batuhin niyo po ng burger.”

SARA DUTERTE — On Thursday, the vice-presidential candidate asked supporters of the “UniTeam” tandem to shun those who wanted to “cancel” them.

Not only that, the Davao City mayor told her supporters to “throw a burger” at the cancel culture mongers.

During a “meet and greet” at the Batasan tricycle terminal in Quezon City, Mayor Sara said that supporters of the UniTeam tandem shouldn’t allow cancel culture mongers to throw cancel at them for campaigning for her and her running-mate, former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

While Mayor Sara didn’t explain why she chose an imaginary “burger” to counter the cancel culture mongers, the crowd apparently understood what Mayor Sara meant and roared in approval.

Mayor Sara would repeat her anti-hate message later in the day in Payatas wherein the vice-presidential candidate spent a few minutes talking to local residents and graciously taking selfies.

The Davao City mayor said that those who campaign for the “red and green” of Marcos and Duterte should just throw a “UniTeam burger” at those who seek to “cancel” them.

“Canceling” in the age of social media refers to calling out someone with an element of shame that may or may not be deserved.

Meanwhile, Mayor Sara shared a video wherein Willie Revillame sang the new version of his hit single “Ikaw Na Nga”.

Her father, President Rodrigo Duterte, shared a short message for her at the start of the video, telling her to be true to her country and work hard for the people.

Trabaho ka lang and be good. I love you,” the President said to his daughter.
