SARA DUTERTE – The Davao City Mayor and vice-presidential candidate was asked if she is open in case President Rodrigo Roa Duterte will join her in campaigning.

Many Filipinos now are looking forward to the grand rallies of their bets for the upcoming May 2022 Election as the campaign period has officially started. The candidates are now having busy schedules as they want to reach as many Filipinos as they can to campaign.

The grand rallies are opportunities for candidates to lay their platforms and to speak on certain issues concerning the country. Most of the recent grand rallies held really gathered a flock of supporters.

Some government officials, showbiz celebrities, groups, and institutions have aired their support to certain candidates. They even help campaign for their bets.

In the case of PDP-Laban Cusi wing candidates, Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte is set to endorse them in campaigns starting March 25. It was confirmed by Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi.

The 76-year-old President did not name the presidential candidate that he will support in the upcoming poll. His party adopted presidential daughter and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte as the vice-presidential bet that they will support.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, during her visit to some cities in Metro Manila, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte was asked if she is open in case Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte will join her in her campaign activities.

Affirming her openness to being accompanied by Pres. Duterte in campaigning, the Davao City Mayor reiterated the call for their friends and colleagues in politics to unite for the upcoming election and after the poll.

Mayor Sara is running with former Senator Bongbong Marcos Jr. in the upcoming election. She is under Lakas-CMD party while Marcos Jr. is the standard-bearer of Partido Federal ng Pilipinas.
