Pia Wurtzbach Intros Own Food Business

Pia Wurtzbach introduced her own food business.

PIA WURTZBACH — The former Miss Universe recently took to social media to introduce her own food business.

Pia continues her path to entrepreneurship with the launch of her own food business. According to her, Pia’s World Kitchen, which is initially available on GrabFood, is “an ode to my love of food and travel”.

She shared that the menu will change throughout the year as she’s focusing on Japanese cuisine first, with Pia’s World Kitchen offering rice bowls such as katsudon and gyudon, as well as curry dishes.

On Instagram, Pia shared that she’s finally launching her own food business after months of preparation, meetings, and food tastings.

So excited to share this with you! After months of preparation, meetings, and food tastings, I’m finally launching my own food business,” Pia wrote. “First stop: Japan! Our food menu will also be traveling so it will change throughout the year. Surprise muna kung saan ko kayo dadalhin next!

Aside from being a host, actress, beauty queen, and ambassador for both UNAIDS and WWF-Philippines, Pia is also a culinary arts graduate.

During her reign, Pia had a segment called “Cooking with Miss Universe” wherein she prepared dishes like the Latin American Empanadas de Carne Molida and the Philippines’ lumpia.

In 2019, Pia opened a milk tea shop in Manila with two of her best friends — chef Niña Almoro and actress Pauleen Luna. At that time, Pia said that she was looking forward to her milk tea business.
