The video footage of an overspeeding kamote rider who nearly causes a road accident after overshooting elicits comments online.
Road accident has been one of the most common traffic problems happening not only in the Philippines but also in various places all around the world. It usually leads to traffic congestions, injuries, and even death to involved individuals.
The national government is implementing stricter traffic policy to reduce the increasing cases of road and vehicular accidents but there are still lot of reckless drivers violating the traffic law, which could lead to accidents.
The Facebook page “Philippines CCTV & DASH CAM Spotted” has shared the video footage of a kamote rider who overshoots on the opposite lane after overspeeding. The video garnered various reactions from the social media users.
In the video, it can be seen that a netizen named Jay de Belen is driving at a moderate speed along the corner in MaRiLaQue. Everything seems to be fine until an unexpected incident happened due to a reckless rider.
The kamote rider lost its control to the motorcycle due to overspeeding along the curvature and overshoots at the opposite lane. The motorist nearly hits Jay de Belen’s vehicle but he was able to use the brake in time.
The car driver forgive the kamote rider and let him get away after the incident. Jay continue driving to their point of destination.
