Is Melai Cantiveros supporting Robredo because of ABS-CBN?
MELAI CANTIVEROS – The Magandang Buhay host denied supporting the presidential bid of Vice President Leni Robredo because of ABS-CBN.
Robredo is gearing up for the highest position in the government this coming May 9, 2022 election.
Together with her runningmate, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, they will go against the tandem of; former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.
Among those who have expressed their support to the presidential aspirant and her team are Kapamilya celebrities such as Sharon Cuneta, Kris Aquino, Angel Locsin and to name a few.
Adding to the list of Kakampinks or suppporters of VP Leni is no less than Magandang Buhay host, Melai Cantiveros.
Recently, she went to the image-sharing site, Instagram wherein she expressed her support to Robredo.
However, it was flooded with mixed reactions and comments.
Some netizens claimed that she’s supporting the presidential bid of Robredo because of ABS-CBN.
A basher wrote: “For the sake of Abs-cbn, not for the Philippines and it’s people, sa nakikita ko lang.”
Another one said: “Si leni e boto nila para mabuksan ang abscbnEND.”
Melai Cantiveros denied that she’s supporting the presidential aspirant because of her home network which was shut down in 2020.
According to her, she will vote for Leni, “For the sake of u and ur family kaya ko boboto si Leni.”
