Ina Feleo shared a message for her late father Johnny Delgado on his birthday.
INA FELEO — The actress recently took to social media to share a message for her late father Johnny Delgado on his birthday.
Ina fondly remembers a special project she did with her late father and her multi-awarded director mom Laurice Guillen last February 27. The actress shared a highlight of the short film she directed more than 13 years ago starring her parents as a sort of tribute for her father’s birthday.
Sharing a clip of “LABING LABING” film on Instagram, the actress said that the said video was a short film she directed in 2009 wherein she cast her parents as the two leads.
According to her, the said film also turned out to be her father’s last film.
“This also turned out to be daddy’s last film. After this he said, ‘Gawa pa tayo. Gusto ko sayo an lang ako aarte.’” Ina shared.
She also said that it’s very sad for her that she only had this one film with her father, but she’s also grateful that her father’s one-of-a-kind laugh is immortalized in the said film.

Though born on a leap year, the actress said that she still wanted to greet her father on his birthday.
“Wala siyang birthday today technically dahil leap year siya ipinanganak, pero babati parin tayo ngayon ng happy birthday sa langit, sa nag-iisang Johnny Delgado. Feb, 29. I love you so much!” Ina wrote.
Johnny Delgado died due to lymphoma in 2009. Ina’s father was diagnosed with cancer in 2008.
