Volunteers, Supporters of Vice Pres. Robredo Holds “Higanteng Walk for Leni” to Show Support
HIGANTENG WALK FOR LENI – The volunteers and supporters of Vice Pres. Leni Robredo in Angono, Rizal held a parade event to show support for her.
The candidates for the May 2022 Election are currently busy campaigning from one province to another province. Grand rallies are taking place in stadiums, gymnasiums, open fields, etc.
Photos of some grand rallies are taking social media by storm as they gathered a huge crowd of supporters and volunteers for a certain candidate. Undeniably, the campaign rallies of Vice Pres. Leni Robredo turned several provinces in pink when she visited as the people went out of their homes to show support to her.
Tagged as “Kakampinks”, the supporters and volunteers of Vice Pres. Robredo are also campaigning for her in different ways. Recently, based on ABS-CBN News, her supporters and volunteers in Angono, Rizal held a parade event dubbed as “Higanteng Walk for Leni”.
The giant paper mache puppet or “Higante” is a popular symbol in Angono, Rizal. A lot of the supporters of Vice Pres. Robredo joined the “Higanteng Walk for Leni”. There were dance performances during the parade and several giant paper mache.
Vice Pres. Leni Robredo’s campaign rallies in Naga, Cavite, Iloilo, and Bulacan gathered thousands of people. Reportedly, her grand rally in Cavite had around 47,000 people that turned the province pink during her visit.
Robredo promises to fight corruption if she wins president in the upcoming election. She wants public disclosure of the government deals and to establish a system that prevents corruption from happening.
She also wants to expand the programs of the Office of the Vice President in the fight against the pandemic so more Filipinos can benefit from it. Her campaign goes with the tag line – “Gobyernong Tapat, Angat Buhay Lahat”.
