Video of Car Driver Criticizing Bikers for Disregarding Traffic Lights at MOA Sparks Debates Online
CYCLISTS – A car driver lambasted the bikers along the road for allegedly disregarding the traffic lights at MOA.
Nowadays, road accident has been one of the most common traffic problems happening not only in the Philippines but also in various places all around the world. It usually leads to traffic congestions, injuries, and even death to involved individuals.
The national government is implementing stricter traffic policy to reduce the increasing cases of road and vehicular accidents but there are still lot of reckless drivers violating the traffic law, which could lead to accidents.
However, several establishments owning private roads are implementing certain rules and regulations to give way for cyclists.
Recently, the Facebook page “VISOR” has shared the video footage of a car driver who lambasted the cyclists along the road for disregarding the traffic lights. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, the car driver stopped after the traffic lights turns red but several cyclists along the road disregarded the signs and beat the red light. The driver even described the cyclists as kamote bikers.
The social media page reminded the public to follow the traffic rules and regulations to avoid accidents. VISOR acknowledged the time period given to the cyclists at MOA to complete their laps freely but gives a piece of advice to the management.
The page suggested that MOA should close the roads off to cars from 5:00 am – 8:00 am because it is dangerous for both vehicles and pedestrians to crisscross with the cyclists along the venue.

“We acknowledge the time window given to cyclists in the area. We’re for these guys. But better if the roads are closed off to cars in their entirety. It’s dangerous to let motor vehicles use the same venue where cyclists are freely doing laps without regard for traffic signals. Management needs to assure EVERYONE’s safety. As you can see in the video, both cars and pedestrians crisscross with the cyclists.”
