‘Artistahin’ Market Vendors in Davao & Pasig Earn Popularity Because of their Stunning Looks
ARTISTAHIN VENDORS – The alleged ‘artistahin’ market vendors in Davao and Pasig went viral online because of their stunning faces.
Filipino consumers could not only find meat and banana at markets in Davao and Pasig but there are handsome and beautiful vendors. Some vendors look like celebrities and several consumers were even taking stolen shots.
One of them is the 18-year-old banana cue vendor in Davao named Yssa who started selling banana cue in 2020. She just wanted to help her mother who lost her job in Dubai due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“First time ko maglako ng banana cue that time hanggang nakasanayan ko na po. ‘yung response ng mga tao is, ‘Uy, saying ang skin mo. Ang init-init baka mangitim ka!,” Yssa said.
Yssa is earning about P200 per day, which is a great help to her family. She and her siblings stopped asking money from their mom knowing that they don’t have enough money. She became a vendor to ease their mother’s hardships.
According to the beautiful banana cue vendor, her auntie decided to take photo of her while selling her products. Her photo immediately spread like a wildfire online after it was posted on social media.
The young lady earned praises and admirations from the netizens but she also received criticisms from bashers.
In Pasig City, a pork meat vendor named Albert captured the hearts of the people because of his handsome face. Aside from being a vendor, he is also a varsity player in their school. His family has been in the meat business for about four decades.
“Every magki-Christmas tsaka magne-New Year, Pumupunta akong palengke. Tinutulungan ko ‘yung parents ko. ‘Yun din ‘yung free time ko. Basu kasi ako sa school tsaka sa paglalaro,” Albert said.
