ARA MINA — The actress has postponed plans of having a baby in order to focus on her husband Dave Almarinez’s campaign.
“E, madali na yun. Kasi mahirap din mangampanya na lobo ang tiyan,” the actress said.
Ara and Dave spoke to PEP and some invited press at the launch of Dave Almarinez’s WiFi Zones at Robinsons Galleria South, San Pedro, Laguna, February 28, 2022. The purpose of the said project is to have an internet connection in 27 barangays of the said city.
Her husband is running for congressman in San Pedro, Laguna in the 2022 elections.
According to her, they will focus on having a baby after the election. The actress was also asked how will they focus on having a baby if her husband won in the 2022 elections.
“Aantayin natin hanggang sa maupo siya, ano iyan, e, transition, di ba? So, pag na-settle, balik-trabaho na,” Ara said.

It’s only been a year since Ara and Dave got married on June 30, 2021. The couple have one child each from their previous relationships.
When asked about their relationship, the actress shared that she and her husband have a good tandem because they’re opposite when it comes to the taste of movies to watch.
“Masaya, masaya na exciting na challenging dahil nga yung relasyon nag-start pandemic, e. I think yung pandemic yung nakapagbuklod sa amin, e,” the actress said. “Maganda yung tandem namin kasi hindi naman kami sobrang masasabi na maraming similarities.”
Ara is currently busy with the lock-in taping of “Ang Probinsyano” in Ilocos.
