Silent Sanctuary is a 5-piece Filipino rock band that was formed in 2001.

The group is currently composed of Raymund “Sarkie” Sarangay on vocals, guitars, keyboards; Anjo Inacay on cello and backing vocals; Allen Calixto on drums; Kim Mirandilla-Ng on violin; and Ronnie Ropal on bass guitar, backing vocals.

They are behind the hit songs Kundiman, Ikaw Lamang, Bumalik Ka Na Sa’kin, Hiling, Pasensya Ka Na, Sa’yo and to name a few.

Meanwhile, Silent Sanctuary has been canceled by supporters of Robredo following reports that they will perform at the Unity Concert of Presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio.

Based on the poster released by UniTeam, the band is among that will perform during the concert this coming Sunday, February 27 in Bayambang, Pangasinan.

However, in a Facebook post, Silent Sanctuary invited their fans to jam with them at Saint Vincent Ferrer Prayer Park. Apparently, they did not mention that they are going to perform at the Unity Concert.

The post was flooded with criticism from some netizens including supporters of Robredo.

A netizen wrote: “Hoy kadiri ka Silent Sanctuary para kang si Marcos Magnanakaw hindi ka transparent na rally ni LBM yang jamming mo! Tangina enabler ka ng corrupt at sinungaling.”

Silent Sanctuary has yet to issue any statement over criticisms they are receiving.
