Here’s the message of Robin Padilla to Erik Matti after the director criticizes Toni Gonzaga
ROBIN PADILLA – The actor-turned-senatorial candidate defended Toni Gonzaga against the comments of veteran director Erik Matti.
Earlier, Matti took to the image-sharing platform, Instagram wherein he criticized Gonzaga for her support to presidential candidate, former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
His criticisms against Gonzaga earned mixed reactions from the netizens and among those who could not help but mince words is no less than senatorial aspirant Robin Padilla.
The action star will run for senator under the PDP-Laban faction led by Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi.
Hours after Matti posted his criticism against Toni online, Robin took to social media wherein he defended the latter and asked the director why he was delving into the issue.
Padilla believes that Matti should respect the decision of Gonzaga to support Marcos.

Matti has yet to issue any statement with regards to the message of Padilla.
Meanwhile, Toni is currently making rounds online following his departure as the main host of the reality show, Pinoy Big Brother (PBB).
Many netizens believe that her departure as host of the show after 16 years has something to do with her support to the tandem of former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.
In fact, she served as the host during the presidential and vice-presidential’s proclamation rally on Tuesday, February 8, held in Philippine Arena.
