Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio is gearing up for the second-highest position in the government this coming May 9, 2022 elections.

Together with his runningmate, former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. they will go against the tandem of; Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.

But according to the president himself, he and his daughter don’t really talk about politics whenever they are together.

Duterte made the statement in an interview with Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar in his program, “The Cabinet Report.”

According to the president, he and his daughter talked about politics once. However, he did not reveal it in public.

“Hindi kami nag-uusap basta nasabi ko na ikaw na ang patakbuhin ko. We do not talk about politics either inside except for once pero ayaw ko na lang i-discuss kasi hindi maganda, it was between a father and daughter. But it was also a conversation about politics pero sa amin na yun,” he said.

The President declined to give further details about him and his daughter Mayor Sara.
