From being a pizza delivery boy to CEO
FREDERICK MONTILLA – The high school dropout and former pizza delivery boy is now the CEO of a financial consulting firm in Canada.
It was in the year 1990 when his parents went to Canada.
After three years, he and his siblings were petitioned to follow there. He was Grade 6 at the time.
“Nung 18 kasi, I had my firstborn, so I was forced out of school,” she said.
In order to support his family, he worked as a pizza delivery boy.
His life changed when he met a wealthy Canadian named Jack who runs a wealth management firm.
According to him, there was a time he got to his house and he saw there a bird cage which is even bigger than his entire apartment.
He asked if the guy was a millionaire, to which the latter replied: “I am.”
Fred then asked the millionaire how can he do what he does.
The wealthy man told him to start as mutual funds salesman- that’s how his finance career started.
Fred worked in Jack’s company. He also worked as a telemarketer. He juggles three jobs at the time.
As a telemarketer, he needs to call 400 people a day.
Frederick learned how rich people handle their money when it comes to investments, assets, and savings.
Eventually, he established Montilla Private Wealth, his financial firm in Calgary, Alberta. Fred is the president and chief executive officer (CEO) of the said firm.
According to him, they are helping their clients how to start with investments such as how can they grow their money thru stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real estate, and even on retirement.
