Is Ping Lacson chiding the current PNP chief with his statement over helicopter?
PING LACSON – The presidential candidate and senator said he used a Philippine National Police (PNP) helicopter for his personal needs when he was still the head of the said organization.
This, after current PNP chief Gen. Dionardo Carlos, admitted that the crashed H125 Airbus helicopter was supposed to pick him up at the exclusive resort of Balesin Island.
Apparently, one was killed while two were injured in the helicopter crash.
“Kung official function, walang problema ‘yun. Pero kung personal, sa kanyang personal, pribadong sabihin nating situation, meron talagang mali. Ako nag-chief PNP ako, I never used PNP resources, choppers for my personal needs,” he said.
Lacson said that the alleged reason why he was supposed to be picked up by the helicopter must be investigated.
Carlos deeply regretted what happened and said he was ready to participate in the investigation.
Meanwhile, Lacson is gearing up for the highest position in the government this coming May 9, 2022 election.
Together with her runningmate, Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, they will go against the tandem of; Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza.
