Parking space? Man shot dead
PARKING ALTERCATION – A man in Bago City, Negros Occidental died after being gunned down.
The incident was captured via CCTV footage.
Based on the video, a motorcycle can be seen stopping in the middle of the road. The back rider then got off and kicked a man on the side.
But then another man struck him and knocked him down.
When he got up, he pulled out a gun and shot the person who hit him.
The victim was rushed to the hospital but he was declared dead on arrival.
According to the initial investigation of the authorities, their altercation started due to parking space.
The suspect was eventually arrested, however, he did not give a statement.
This is not the first time that such an incident happened.
Last year, Nolito Magallanes, a vice mayoral aspirant in the municipality of Maragondon in Cavite was killed by his friend/neighbor following their altercation due to parking.
Based on the report of the police, the two were having a drinking session when they got into an argument with regards to the victim’s vehicle parked at the basketball court.
Allegedly, none could play at the basketball court because the victim’s vehicle is being parked there.
After their altercation, the suspect followed the victim who first left the scene and eventually shot him in front of his house in Barangay Bacao II in General Trias. The shooting incident happened past 6 pm on Tuesday, November 16.
As soon as he killed the victim, the suspect fled from the crime scene and while the investigation is ongoing, the police have placed him under manhunt.
