Janella Salvador traumatized by “being around drunk people, drunk men”

JANELLA SALVADOR – The Kapamilya actress admitted that she had a trauma in her previous relationship.

In an interview with Ogie Diaz, the actress shared what she had gone through from her past relationship.

“May trauma siyang nadulot sa akin. Na-forgive ko naman na. Ako, as a person, mabilis akong mag-forgive. Hindi ako nagho-hold ng grudges kasi ako, gusto ko peaceful tayo, okay. Sige,” she shared.

The actress, on the other hand, chose not to name her ex-boyfriend that caused her trauma because she had already forgiven him.

According to Janella, physical harm wasn’t the cause of her trauma but “being around drunk people, drunk men.”

“Kapag lalaki tapos lasing tapos wala sa sarili, doon ako na-trauma,” she added.

She shared that Markus Paterson, her current boyfriend and the father of her son Jude Trevor knew about what she had gone through.

Meanwhile, Janella Salvador rose to fame after starring in the defunct daytime drama, Be Careful With My Heart, which aired until 2014.

Her first leading role was via 2015 ABS-CBN series, “Oh My G!” wherein she portrayed the role of an orphan who blames God for the trials in her life

In 2016, she had her second major lead TV role through the music-based drama Born for You wherein she portrayed the role of an aspiring musician who studies and works in Tokyo.

Then, she made a version of Moana’s “How Far I’ll Go” which gave birth to her first solo concert called Super Janella in 2017.

In 2019, she returned to acting on television after starring in the series The Killer Bride, portraying the role as a possessed girl named Emma.

She last appeared on TV via an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya titled Tren.

She’s gearing up for her portrayal as Valentina of Darna.
