In her program Cristy Ferminute, the showbiz veteran stressed that she won’t give a public apology demanded by Dawn’s camp even if she will face charges.

To recall, the veteran columnist was given until February 16 to apologize to Dawn for her “nakikipaglandian” comment.

Cristy said that she’s used to being accused by artists in her 30 years of working in showbiz. But Cristy could not hide her resentment from Dawn’s lawyer, Atty. Rafael Vicente Calinisan for the latter’s message to her.

Topacio, on the other hand, said that they have already sent a demand letter to Calinisan in which they ask the lawyer to apologize for what he said against the columnist.

Cristy clarified that she didn’t really know Dawn Chang.

Cristy has no plans to withdraw the case against Calinisan in case he does not apologize to her.

Dawn’s camp has yet to respond to Cristy’s action against them.

The rift between Fermin and Chang started following the criticism of the latter to actress-host Toni Gonzaga.

Toni has been making rounds online following her support to the candidacy of former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

In fact, she served as the host during the proclamation rally of BBM and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte last Tuesday.

Joining Toni in her support to BBM is no less than her husband, director Paul Soriano.
