In the said interview, Carlos did not mince words while criticizing the past presidential interviews of Jessica Soho.

Carlos frankly said that watching the said program was a waste of time because of the kinds of questions that Soho gave to the presidential candidates.

To recall, it was on January 22 when the top presidential candidates faced Jessica Soho for presidential interviews.

Apparently, former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos did not attend the interview because according to him, the Kapuso broadcast journalist was “biased.”

“Unang una hindi ko pinanood ‘yan (JS Interview) kasi magaaksaya lamang ako ng panahon,” Carlos said. “Na-trivialize ‘yung interview na parang ginawang game show.”

According to her, the said interviews only wasted the time of the candidates who were supposed to be campaigning but chose to attend the said program.

Clarita Carlos believes this is the right time for networks to raise the level of their interviews with candidates.

She said that it should not be the journalists who become the panelists of the debates but the real experts like her.

Meanwhile, Carlos served as one of the panelists in the presidential debate held by Sonshine Media Network International, a media company owned by the controversial religious leader, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.

It was attended by former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., labor leader Ka Leody De Guzman, and two others.
