Art for free? Bianca Umali slammed over art contest on YouTube
BIANCA UMALI – The Kapuso actress was called out by netizens over her art contest which she launched on her YouTube channel.
Earlier this month, the actress took to the video-sharing platform wherein she called on for artists who can create a YouTube channel art for her.
Her channel which was created way back in July 2015 has 63k subscribers as of posting.
The submission of entries ran until February 9.
“I have been receiving lots of fan art from all of you, which is why I thought of putting this contest up to show the world how talented my ever so supporting fans are!” she said.
According to her, she’s excited to see all the entries and she would select her “top ten favorites” out of the entries being submitted.
She said she will announce the winner in her next video. However, it’s yet to be uploaded.
Apparently, some netizens were unhappy with her announcement. Some slammed her for launching a contest without a prize.

Meanwhile, Bianca started off as a commercial model when she was only two years old.
She was seen in several television commercials such as EQ Diapers’ “Miss Universe” commercial and a commercial for Nestle Ice Cream.
She was only 9-years-old when she became one of the hosts of Tropang Potchi, a children’s show.
She later ventured into acting and among her titular role is when she portrayed the character of Crisanta “Crisan” Magpantay/Bautista in Kambal, Karibal.
