Venus Raj talked about the first-ever relationship that she had
Miss Universe 2010 fourth runner-up Venus Raj revealed the experience that she had when she was 16 years old and her boyfriend at that time was already 28 years old.
Venus is one of the popular beauty queens who represented the Philippines in the most prestigious pageant in the world. She was known for her “major-major” expression during the question-and-answer portion.
When she competed, she was 22 years and now that she is 33 years old, she was once again asked about the “big mistake” that she thinks she committed in her life. In a recent Toni Talks vlog of actress-host Toni Gonzaga, Venus Raj admitted that she had a misconception about relationships and because of this, her “purity” was compromised.
She shared that she had her first relationship when she was 16 years old and her boyfriend was already 28. Venus said that since she was so young back then, she did not know how a relationship should be, she just followed the lead of her boyfriend.
She was focused on the thought that she can say she was in a relationship. “No idea at all. I was introduced to things that I shouldn’t be introduced [to],” Venus said. That was also the first experience she had when it comes to intimacy in a relationship.
Venus also said that she thought that was how relationships should be. She thought that was love. The former beauty queen also revealed that the relationship just lasted for one and a half years or two years because the guy impregnated another woman.
She also said that at that time, she did not realize that there was already a void in her and that there was something missing. Venus Raj shared that she is single for seven years now.
