Robin Padilla expresses gratitude to Ronnie Ricketts over his candidacy
ROBIN PADILLA – The actor-turned-senatorial aspirant took to social media wherein he thanked his fellow action star, Ronnie Ricketts.
Many showbiz personalities are trying their luck in the upcoming elections. One of their primary reasons for venturing into politics is to expand their platform in helping others.
Among those who are rooting for elective posts in 2022 are renowned celebrities such as Raffy Tulfo, Jason Abalos, Ejay Falcon, Richard Yap, Anjo Yllana, Angelu de Leon, Nash Aguas, Dennis Padilla to name a few.
Adding to the list of celebrities-turned-election hopefuls is no less than action star Robin Padilla. The action star will run for senator under the PDP-Laban faction led by Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi.
While some are criticizing his “ambition” to secure a senate seat, there were also those who defend and even campaign for him. One of which is his fellow actor Ronnie Ricketts.
To thank his “Maestro”, Robin Padilla went to the social networking site, Facebook wherein he posted a lengthy message to Ricketts.

Meanwhile, out of hundreds who filed their Certificate of Candidacy (COC) in the 2022 senatorial polls, only 12 will be elected.
Among those who are rooting a senatorial slot in the coming elections are ordinary citizens to elite individuals as well as prominent personalities.
The campaign period for nationally-elected positions will kick off on February 8, 2022, until May 7, 2022, while the nationwide election is scheduled to be held on May 9.
